For the second year, rivers river otters (Lontra canadensis) have been sighted in the  lawrence Brook.


This bear was sighted near the brook.  5 bear sightings in the area, in 2008

Its  name comes from Algonquian  wapathemwa (white dog)

In a meadow  near Weston Mill Pond Near Davidsons Mill Pond. The name may  come  from the Odawa word  'jidmoonh' (red squirrel)
